Ways to tell if you have "That" Friend

The topic of having and what makes someone a good friend has been on my mind a lot this week.  This year has been great for me in terms of making really good friends, but there were times when I wasn't as lucky.  I'm sure we can all admit that we haven't always been the perfect friend to the people we love, and the people we love haven't been the perfect friends to us.  However, there are some friends..."THAT" friend, who isn't necessarily the nicest or most considerate person in our clique on a more consistent basis.  But if you're still unclear as to the kind of person I'm talking about, I've composed a list of hints that will help you spot if you have or maybe even are "that" friend (although I sincerely hope that you have a fun, loyal, honest, trustworthy group of friends in which this post would just be for entertainment).

Do you have friends like this, or the ones below?  (Source)

They only text you when they need something - And to them, that means "anything" at any time of the day.

They talk about themselves...ALL the time - Friends are supposed to make sacrifices, and your friend believes that means you sacrificing your own problems to listen to theirs.
They lie to you when you ask for their advice or opinions because why would you deserve to hear their actual opinions?  They like to agree with you no matter what, in order to avoid arguments and any of the sticky stuff that comes with having an honest conversation.

Jennifer Lawrence Yeah OK
When you just know your friend is lying (Source)
They talk about you behind your back to, well, anyone - Yes, your friend loves you most of the time, but sometimes they can't help but vent to other people when you're getting on his/her last nerve!
They don't make conversation with your family - Even though your parents are the ones who drove the two of you to the Jonas Brothers' concert in '07, or let him/her sleep in your house for three days straight, your friend doesn't feel the need to be all buddy-buddy with your fam.  They have one family they have to speak to on a daily basis, and that's enough for them.

Source
They never offer to pay the extra couple of dollars for you- It sucks when you're missing some change to pay for your Booster Juice smoothie, but it's really not their problem now is it?

Ryan Gosling Disaproves
When "that" friend gives you the "you're broke" look... (Source)
They drop you as soon the people around them make fun of you- "You are only as good as the company you keep" and your friend doesn't want to be associated with someone who makes them look bad in the eyes of people he/she doesn't even care about.
If they ever have a choice between their significant other and you, they always choose the significant other - They don't think blowing you off to be with their boyfriend or girlfriend is that big of a deal.  You should understand that the person they've been dating for two weeks means A LOT to them, ok???
They always make excuses when they can't hang out with you - Sometimes your friend gets better offers, and he/she needs to think of a little white lie to get out of spending yet another Friday night eating pizza and watching Sex and the City reruns with you

Source
They point out your flaws or state their opinions...especially when it's most inappropriate - Their idea of being a good friend means telling you when you're "getting fat", don't have the right personality for your dream job, or that your boyfriend dresses weird.  And they believe it's best when these things are said in front of a large group of people.

incredulous
Source
They flirt with your crush/boyfriend/girlfriend/ex, but that's only to test your crush/boyfriend/girlfriend/ex to make sure they were, are, or will be a good and loyal candidate for you.  Well...most of the time.  On other occasions, it's just to annoy you.  Oops!

Source
They don't let you have other friends - You only need one person in your life, and that's obviously him/her.  Any other platonic relationships would just get in the way of the strong bond you two share.
They write rude statuses and tweets about you when they're angry - It makes more sense for him/her to share their anger at you with the cyber world than directly with you.  That way, tension can build between you, people can gossip about your friendship, and the whole situation can become bigger than it could have been if they had just spoken to you directly.

Sudden Clarity
Scrolling down your timeline happily until you see that awful subtweet (Source)
They don't do anything with you unless they want to do it - Remember the "sacrifice" we spoke about earlier?  Well that only applies to you.  Therefore, your friend should never be asked to sit through a boring sports game, or spend six hours at the mall shopping for something that you're clearly not going to find.

Well... (Source)
They say one thing, and do the other - On Tuesday, your friend tells you that he/she hates when people do something, and on Friday, you catch them doing the exact thing they said they hated.  But they can't help it...he/she is a complex person.

I'm sure there are other ways to tell if you have "that" friend, but these are the main characteristics that no one ever wants in a friend.  As I said above, none of us are perfect, but I can honestly say that I've had friends say and do some of these things, and it feels good when those people are personally escorted out of my life.  So, if you spot any of these in some of your present friends, I recommend assessing whether "that" friend adds value to your life (in which you sit down with him/her and let them know how you feel), or whether they simply add stress (in which you do not neeeeeeeed them).  However, if you see these characteristics in yourself (myself included), we also need to be mindful of how we are treating the people who are most important our lives.  Because, quite frankly, we all deserve to have amazing friends...but to also be amazing friends as well.

One of my favourite sayings is "relationships shouldn't be stressful", and they shouldn't!  Your friends should bring out the absolute best in you, and you should bring out the best in them!

Finding Inspiration

Enjoy this famous poem by Dr. Angelou!

As I'm sure everyone knows, yesterday, beloved activist, writer, poet (she wore so many hats!), Maya Angelou, passed away at the age of 86.  I tweeted that I'm certain everything she's ever said is quotable, and I'm not lying.  She has spoken so many inspirational words that have helped many people in different ways.  She has written memoirs and autobiographies about her life, and trials as a young woman.  And yet she was able to push through those hard times and create an amazing, rewarding life for herself.  She's truly someone to admire.  One of her many quotes that spoke to me today is:

"You can only become truly accomplished at something you love.  Don't make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can't take their eyes off of you."

What do I love to do?  What is my passion?  I think those are questions that everyone has or will ask themselves at one point or another.  But seriously, how do any of us figure that out????  My advice is to think about what your most perfect day would look like after you've left your house.  Where would you go?  Who would you see or talk to?  What would you do?  What would you surround yourself with?  What would you eat?  If money or distance wasn't an issue (while still being realistic...), how would you spend that day?  Now ask yourself why you chose that.  Is it because it's something you've never done before, or is it because it's something you do all the time, and gives you the most peace and happiness?

If you chose more than one "perfect day" that's cool too.  I know I can see myself doing multiple things and still being happy with my life.  The problem is, I've never tried any of them.  I mean, we can visualize our perfect situation all we want, but if we don't try it out and see if it's truly what we want to do, what good is that?  So the next step would be to put things into action.  If you see yourself helping children with poverty in third world countries, plan a missions trip or contact a relief organization and see how you can get involved.  If you imagine your perfect day in a designer gown receiving an Oscar, take acting classes or enroll in theatre school, and try joining an agency.  If you plan on being an entrepreneur, create a business plan.  And if you want to travel, book a ticket (I totally understand that a lot of the cool destinations are reeeaal pricey, so maybe save up for that one).  Many of us look at the people who take action and think "wow I wish I could do that", but in reality, why can't we?  There are so many practical ways to take that first step towards living fulfilling lives, so why don't we take it?

Of course there's a lot of fear that comes with following your dreams...fear of failure, of going against the norm, or even the fear that you won't be satisfied once you get to where you envisioned yourself.  First of all, failure is necessary and makes success all the more rewarding.  Secondly, doing what everyone does will never make you stand out for being great.  And thirdly, who said you had to do one thing for 50 years?  No one.  As Dr. Angelou said, you can't be truly accomplished unless you love what you're doing, so if you're unhappy, it's okay to change your mind about the direction you're going in!  Once we get over our fears, whatever they may be, we'll have a clearer vision of what we need to do to accomplish our goals.

Seek inspiration.  Don't wait for it to come to you.  Go out there, make your own experiences, and challenge yourself.  I have yet to hear an inspiring story that begins with "I was laying in bed one night..." (although being in bed is important too).  You don't always have to go far to be inspired, either.  It can start in your community, with your friends, with strangers, with anything and anyone!  Try not to limit yourself by only paying attention to the big things, because you may miss out on the little things that actually turn out to be the big things (pretty sure a quote like this already exists).  And if you're religious like me, pray about it!  Be still, and listen to what you're being told about your calling toward a particular profession or way of life.  I discovered this song called "Am I wrong", that just happened to fit the message of striving for your goals no matter what other people are doing or saying.  As long as we have integrity, follow our hearts, and stand up for what we believe in, we should always be proud of what we've done and where life has taken us!  Be your own person and you can't go wrong!  Click here to listen.

xx

As I said in another post, I'm not a psychologist and I'm not trying to be.  I consider this blog as a way to communicate with you all as friends, so I'm giving advice and sharing my thoughts as a friend.  I don't expect everyone to agree because we all have our own opinions, but if this helps you or you know someone who has been in a rut lately, why not pass it along?  I know I'm not this famous blogger or anything, but it really means a lot to me when people message me and let me know that my blog helps or entertains them in some way.  So thank you!!!

Trivial Things that have Changed My Life

Undeniably, living in a first world country in the 21st country can often cause us to act like huge brats.  We get upset when things don't go our way, or when we don't get what we want (hence, the phrase, "first world problems"), and fail to remember that there are so many people out there who don't have it as easy as us.

But don't worry, I'm not getting all heavy and serious with you today.  Although it is always necessary to count your blessings and be thankful for things like clean, running water, a home, and other life essentials, I thought it would be much more fun to tell you some of the trivial things that have changed my life for the better.

Flannel Shirts

Flannel Shirt with dress and over the knee socks
(Source)
Over-sized flannel shirts are one of my wardrobe must-haves because they look good with EVERYTHING.  Thrown over any type of outfit, a flannel shirt makes you look effortlessly stylish and cool and kinda hipster and cute and you can wear it on your body or tied around your waist and, well, I just don't know what I would do without it.  It is literally my go-to piece.

Kale

Panfried Kale by Ree Drummond / The Pioneer Woman, via Flickr
(Source)
Did you know that kale is a super food??  You can't go wrong with adding more of it to your diet!  Find this image and some recipes here.

Okay, maybe this isn't exactly "trivial", seeing as kale has a thousand health benefits, but it has definitely changed my life.  In addition to having tons of vitamins, preventing certain cancer risks, and being a detox food, kale is delicious!  It may have a bitter, acquired taste for some people, but it can be included in sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and eaten raw, cooked, or baked...kale chips anyone?

Pinterest

If it was possible to live inside Pinterest, I would move in a heartbeat.  I often call it a classier version of Tumblr (no offense to Tumblr users of course, I love Tumblr as well!).  Both have the same idea posting photos and quotes on your profile, but Pinterest is more organized, and can be used as an inspiration and aspiration board: you can "pin" quotes and photos that inspire you, but also create Pinboards that help you plan the type of life you want to live in the future (not to mention the amazing recipes I find on this website that turn out perfectly and make me feel like a top chef).

Liquid Eyeliner

Yes

Amazing eyes
(Source)
Ah, liquid eyeliner.  My mother actually gave me my first tube (is that what it's called? who knows) a few years ago when she found it too frustrating to perfect the technique herself.  And I am so thankful she did.  A normal pencil eyeliner provides more of a natural, everyday look, but liquid eyeliner does a great job at accentuating the eyes, and making your makeup look absolutely gorgeous.  Although it takes practice to steady your hand when applying this magical product, I think most girls can agree that when you're in the zone, and create two perfect wings with a good liquid eyeliner, you feel invincible.

My cellphone as a TV remote

Being able to use my cellphone as a TV remote is one of the millions of things I love about it!
I don't know if an *cough* iPhone user can do this without having to downloading an app, but my cellphone acting as a remote control has saved me so much time searching for the actual TV remote between couch cushions or under my bed's comforters.  It can hook up to any TV, change the channel, adjust the volume, and more.  My phone can also tell me which of my favourite shows are on at any moment, as well as the channel and episode.  But iPhones are cool too!!! Ha.

Frozen Yogurt

(Source)
I knew I was in love with frozen yogurt when I finished the 2L tub in less than a week (don't judge me).  I don't know if it is the fact that it tastes good with any topping, or that I'm justified by it being somewhat healthier than ice cream, but regardless, any flavour of frozen yogurt has my heart.

Pulled Pork

How delicious does this look?! (Source)
At first, I didn't understand all the hype around pulled pork, but eventually something clicked, and I've been in love ever since.  There is just something about braised pork smothered in delicious barbecue sauce, and served between two warm slices of bread or hamburger buns.  And if you haven't tried it, please do yourself the favour and get on that ASAP.

The subway

It may look dark and gross, but the subway is so convenient that you won't even mind.
I know that many people have problems with this underground form of transportation being dirty, smelly, and unreliable.  However, coming from a city where the transit could arrive in 20 minutes or 40 minutes (or not at all...don't get me started), the subway arriving every two minutes is just heaven sent.  It is also a great place to people watch, and come in contact with a lot of different human beings (unless you hate coming into contact with human beings, because then I don't know what to tell you).

Smoothies

I am obsessed with green juice and will be posting my favourite recipe very soon!
Strawberries and Cream Smoothie (vegan, GF) - Like a strawberry milkshake but healthier! Sweet, creamy & satisfying!
Find this photo (and the recipe) here
Even though I am not Catholic, during Lent, I decided to give up sugary drinks.  During this time, I relied on natural smoothies to get me through the 40 days.  And let me tell you, smoothies are wonderful.  With yummy fruits and vegetables and a little bit of milk, yogurt, or water, there is absolutely no need to include sugar.  Homemade smoothies are also a great way to sneak those fruits and veggies into your daily diet, especially if you are not a fan of eating them raw.

YouTube
Casually writing this post while also watching one of my favourite beauty gurus, Meghan Rienks on YouTube.  Check her out!
If you know me or follow me on Twitter, you would know how much I love YouTube.  There is no shortage of entertainment on this website, whether it be funny tags and challenges, beauty or hair tutorials, vlogs, and of course, music.  I can honestly say I watch more videos on YouTube than shows on the television, and that I've learned (and laughed!) more as well.  Not to mention that I embarrassingly consider my favourite YouTubers my friends (I mean, they have tweeted me).

And there you have it, some of the superficial things that have changed my life.  My advice to you is that the next time you get angry over first world problems, you think about all the first world solutions that have made you a much happier camper.

What trivial things have changed your life?

50 Ways to have an Unforgettable Summer!

HELLO HELLO!!!  It's been almost eight thousand years since I've written anything and I promise to never leave you all for that long ever again (I hope).  But I have officially finished my first year of university and despite the fact that I will be starting summer school and work soon, I will have a lot more time to write posts.

Anyway, since there are four months for us Uni and College kids before school picks up again, I thought I would give you some suggestions on how to spend the summa.  I know that high school students still have a couple of months before their summer begins, but it is never too early to get excited for those hot summer months, and the possibilities that come with them.  Some of these suggestions are most likely what you were already planning on doing this year, but others will hopefully help you get out of your comfort zone, give you some alternatives to your typical routine, and have the BEST summer ever yay!

In no particular order, here are my FIFTY suggestions for spending this summer vacation.

Summer time! Who doesn’t love Summer? #Summer Style #Shoes #Crocs For great summer styles, shop http://www.crocs.com/comfortable-summer-footwear/summer-shoes,default,sc.html
Summer vacation is full of opportunities...how are you going to spend yours?
Photo from Pinterest

1. Teach yourself a new language via Google, Rosetta Stone, or even a phone or iPad app.

2. Read at least three books from totally different genres

3. Muster up the courage to talk to the cute guy or girl at the coffee shop (or confess your love to someone you do know) - and if they don't feel the same way, you have 2 - 4 months to pretend nothing happened ha (just kidding)

4. Do a run or walk for charity - there are so many fun charity walks that you can participate in teams, while also raising money for a cause you really believe in.

5. Spend an entire day doing absolutely nothing - but not, like, everyday...

6. Start a DIY project - cut your jeans, decorate a mug, get creative!  There are so many ideas you can search up on Pinterest.

7. Spend the day with yourself - go to the library, visit a museum or art gallery and become a lil more cultured (or just go to the mall and shop until your heart's content because you really cannot go wrong with that)

8. Go to dinner or a party with the members of all your different friend groups - it might be kind of awkward hanging out with your friends from camp, school, church and your soccer team all at once, but their different experiences and personalities can make for an unpredictable and interesting night

9. Cook an entire three course meal - yes, you'll probably be in the kitchen all day, but the sense of accomplishment you'll feel when you've finished cooking an appetizer, main course, and dessert, will make it all worth it

10. Do something active - and by active, I mean skipping dinner or the movies to play laser tag, go go-carting or paint balling, and get sweaty and even a little messy

11. Have a grade-school style slumber party - complete with pajamas, magazines, nail polish, and a solid game of Truth or Dare (which will probably be juicier now that we're older than 10 years old)

12. Wear something embarrassing out in public, and see what kinds of reactions you get - this for the people who are don't care what anyone thinks, or those who want to stop caring

13. Pull an all-nighter - stay up from the moment the sun goes down, all the way until sunrise the next day

14. Perform a random act of kindness - or many acts of kindness

15. Go to a public event in your area - this could include a sporting event, a music festival, or a carnival

16. Spend the day with your parents doing what they want to do - go grocery shopping, help them run errands,go to the movies; earn your title as Son or Daughter of the Year

17. Don't check your social media accounts for a whole day - and try not to roll over a die...I believe in you!

18. Go on an evening walk or bike ride with a friend around your neighbourhood - the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors and good conversation is when the sun starts to set and the air starts to cool down

19. Have a movie or TV series marathon - choose a series on Netflix or buy a bunch of five dollar movies from Walmart or Target, and park yourself on the couch or in bed with an abundance of food by your side

20. Go to the beach - spend the day frolicking in the water, playing a game of beach volleyball, and having some fun in the sun

21. Go downtown and visit the more obscure and unique shops - support entrepreneurs who are offering one of a kind items and yummy food

22. Go to a local farmer's market - nothing's better than waking up early on a Saturday morning, buying fresh produce, and socializing with the residents of your community

23. Rekindle a friendship - call (or text...or Facebook message...or direct message...) someone you used to be close with, and even if you don't necessarily "rekindle" the relationship you once had, enjoy a nice conversation with an old friend

24. Get a job - because a lot of these suggestions are gonna cost ya!

25. Make your own cocktails or mocktails and sip them on the porch or patio - homemade popsicles work too

26. Go camping or have a bonfire with a bunch of friends - going camping is still one of my favourite memories and best experiences of my life, and I recommend it 100%

27. Get ready to go out using ONLY Youtube tutorials - we all watch beauty and hair tutorials, but almost never actually try them out...this is your chance

28. Eat something you swore you'd never try - or do something you swore you'd never do, because realistically, I would try any food once

29. Redecorate your room - or your Tumblr, or any type of redecorating

30. Go on a long drive to nowhere in particular and see where you end up

31. Make a new friend - and make the effort to keep them!

32. Go thrifting - don't just buy second hand clothes from the same stores you already shop in...try to find something different or vintage (or something that looks cool and vintage, same thing)

33. Splurge on something you've always wanted - provided you have or got that job I suggested earlier

34. Buy new music - purchase your favourite artist's new album and fall in love all over again

35. Take a class at the community centre - register for cooking, or ballroom, or guitar, or basketball

36. Have a Dare Night - gather up your friends, get into groups of four or five, dress up in matching outfits and complete a set of dares before the end of the night

37. Visit a theme or water park

38. Learn about a different culture - find out about their customs, rituals, and traditional dishes

39. Go on a last minute getaway or road trip - if you have the funds, why not spend the weekend (or longer) away in a different city, province, or state

40. Hold family or friend Game Night - complete with classic board games, Twister, and those wizard and dragon games like in that one episode of Lizzie McGuire (thumbs up if you know what I'm talking about)

41. Watch all of your Disney movies - because every kid born in the 90's or later has an extensive collection of Disney films that need some lovin'

42. Throw or go to a house party - but be safe and responsible *mom voice*

43. Exercise - because I had to add this on the list (how are your New Year's Resolutions going, by the way??)

44. Strike up a conversation with a stranger - a simple conversation with someone in line at Starbucks or the supermarket can actually make someone's day...even yours!

45. Go on a late night trip to get fast food or candy - for some reason, places like McDonald's and Walmart are so much more fun at 3 am

46. Volunteer - find an organization or even a company that you really admire, and see if you help out by giving up your time for free

47. Update your wardrobe - as I said, you can't go wrong with shopping

48. Try to laugh at something (or with someone) every single day - enough laughter can even burn calories so that's a win-win

49. Record your memories in a journal; on little pieces of paper you stick in a jar and read later; or in the form of a picture or video diary

50. Be a yes (wo)man - spend the summer saying "yes" to things you normally wouldn't, and put yourself in situations where you can learn, grow, meet new people, try new things, gain new experiences and perspectives, and have the best times of your life

How do you plan on spending your summer?

Why I'm Glad I'm NOT Famous

I haven't written a post in a long time, as I've been busy making the transition back to going to school all week, instead of sitting and doing nothing all day during Christmas vacation.  However, I have watched some good movies, an award show or two, and follow celebrity accounts on social media.  By seeing these beautiful, talented, and rich men and women literally all over the place, it is only normal to be a tad jealous of famous people from time to time.  But not I.  You see, friends, not everything celebs experience should be envied; there are also some really annoying things that come with being famous.  Nope, despite the seemingly amazing life these celebrities lead, I am extremely satisfied with my own.  And here are just a few reasons why (Note: This post is for fun.  I am not belittling acting or singing as a meaningful profession!)

1. I don't get special privileges on the train

I love that the hundreds of people that take the train every day don't show me mercy as we all try to get on the vehicle at the same time.  It's every man or women for themselves, so any "gentle" or "accidental" shoving and elbowing that I experience in order to fight for a good seat is extremely normal.  Why would I want to be able to get on the train first, eliminate conflict, and choose any seat I want, just because I was a famous actress or singer??  And if I was a famous person, I'd probably have to get a limo or a slick black car and ditch the train altogether.  What a terrible thought...

2. I get to do my own hair and makeup

I was browsing the internet this evening and came across this photo. Beauty is more than just hair tools, makeup, brushes, nail polish etc. but when we're getting into the "products" associated with beauty these are the types of things I'll be discussing.

I only look decent about 2% of the time, but that's entirely by choice.  I don't need a skilled professional to create trendy hairstyles and makeup product combinations so I would never have to worry about looking like a Sasquatch ever again.  If I wanted to, I could totally whip up a gorgeous hair and makeup look that would be just as good and even better than any Hollywood artist.  I just...choose not to...

3. I don't have to receive countless Twitter and Instagram notifications

The Kardashians each get hundreds to thousands of likes on their pictures every second and who wants that?  I mean, all those people telling me how much they love me, how beautiful I am, and that they wish I'd be their friend; ugh it would be too overwhelming.  I guess I'm just saying I don't think I could handle being showered with compliments 24/7.  In fact, I'm happy with my 11 Instagram likes, ok?

4. I don't have to dress up to watch award shows

Golden Globes Body Crush 2014

All the celebrities get dolled up in their gowns and suits for the Golden Globes, Oscars, Grammys--you name it.  But what's watching these shows while wearing some elegant designer gown that accentuates my personally trained figure, compared to the luxury of laying in bed in my pajamas and stuffing my face with popcorn, chips and pizza?  I know what your answer is.  I'm sure as a talented celebrity it would be exciting to be in the presence of other stars, and take part in the live festivities.  However, not everyone at these shows can win an award, and as far as I'm concerned, being snuggled up in bed always makes me a winner.

5. I won't have to get offended if a store clerk looks at me like I can't afford anything

Because chances are, I'll walk into the store, she'll look at me, I'll look back at her, a moment of silence will pass, and then we'll both laugh and laugh about how broke I am.  As we wipe our tears, she'll escort me out and lock the door behind me.  And that's okay, because I'll probably never intentionally surround myself with things more valuable than my net worth again.

6. I don't have to make my followers feel bad with updates on my fabulous life

I don't jet set to Bora Bora or Europe, I don't go to concerts or perform at concerts, and I don't know Leonardo DiCaprio personally.  But can you imagine if I did?  I would just make my followers feel bad that I was doing so many fantastic things, while all they could do is double-tap or retweet from their iPhones.  And the last thing I want to do is make my followers uncomfortable or upset.  This is obviously the main reason why I don't partake in such activities as taking private vacations and posting selfies with my movie star besties.  Consider me doing you all a favour by not rubbing anything in your faces.

Why are you glad you're not famous?

Ever Dream?

Ever dream about getting away?  Going on an adventure?  A place where you can say whatever you want, wear whatever you want, do whatever you want?  Ever wish to be completely carefree?  To be able to jump into a cab or on a train or a plane, and just go?  Having no one to answer to?

What about meeting people who only know what you want them to know?  Recreating yourself; getting a fresh start.  Dressing up for a night out...or for no reason at all.  Reading a book on a bench in the park, any park.  Feeling warm sunbeams dance on your skin, or a cold breeze whisper against your cheeks.  Eating meals you can't pronounce.  Learning a language you never understood.  Sleeping till noon.  Shopping till sunset.  Walking till dawn.

Do you desire an intimate relationship with life?  This wild and daring and exciting and sad and beautiful life? Letting loose.  Dancing.  Being a free spirit, an inspiration to others.  Choosing to be anonymous, or having the whole world know your name.  All while never being afraid to express your opinion, to show emotion.  Talking and listening.  Being still.  Never worrying.  Falling in love, observing love, appreciating love.  Growing in God, or growing in yourself.  Growing in both.  Taking chances.  Learning from mistakes.  Never looking back.  Becoming alive again.

Ever dream?
